about
This is a track featuring the vocal talents of the wonderful Susie Ro, in honour of the Water Protectors at Standing Rock, Dakota who were bravely opposing the building of a massive oil pipeline through sacred treaty land, threatening the drinking water of thousands of people. They were protesting nonviolently in the face of freezing temperatures and brutal abuse from those defending profits instead of the Earth and welfare of the people. Even though the pipeline still went through what these brave warriors endured was not in vain. Standing up for what is right and good and true is never a waste of time and effort.
May environmental and ethical responsibility return to the America and all nations, may the native peoples and treaty rights be honoured, may the Earth be protected and may the waters run clear and pure for the benefit of all beings.
